Cardiology deals with diseases of the heart and their consequential risk factors. This includes, among other things, hypertension, heart valve defects, circulatory disorders of the heart (coronary heat disease), heart failure, various forms of diseases of the heart muscle (cardiomyopathy) and numerous other diseases.

Manual medicine works on acute back point (for example, the dreaded “lumbago”) and chronic back pain, as well as joint and muscle ailments. The muscles, tendons and joints are not directly damaged, but they do not work together in cohesion, which is why the sufferer is afflicted with pain and limits to their range and quality of movement. The pain resulting from these “functional” problems can arise quite a distance from the actual source of the problem.

The healing process begins immediately after the initial visit to the doctor and usually just a few treatment sessions are sufficient. After this, it is the individual’s own active cooperation and personal responsibility that are key. Gynecology, also known as women’s medicine, deals with the onset and treatment of diseases of the female genital tract. Precautionary measures also play an important role here, whether it is for cancer screening or the appropriate prevention of currently unwanted pregnancies. Women who would also like to have children but have so far been unable to conceive may also come for a consultation. Obstetrics is concerned with the monitoring and supervision of pregnancies.

Our Center offers a wide range of services in the area of sports medicine and gynecology under one roof. We will gladly help you with issues relating to "Women and Sport". Polygraphy

Polygraphy collects information about your sleep patterns. The nocturnal oxygen saturation, pulse rate, position of the body, breathing and snoring are all crucial for the diagnosis. Polygraphy is conducted in the patient’s own bed.

The recording of the resting ECG allows an initial assessment of cardiac performance. By measuring the electrical innervation of the heart muscle, rhythm or excitation disorders can be detected.

Beim Belastungs-EKG auf dem Fahrrad- oder Laufbandergometer werden die Leistungsfähigkeit des Herzens sowie mögliche Veränderungen des Herzkreislaufsystems erfasst. Die Belastung wird entweder stufenweise oder kontinuierlich bis zur Maximalleistung gesteigert. Die Messung erlaubt Rückschlüsse über Blutdruck- und Pulsverhalten und dient als wichtige Diagnostik von Durchblutungsstörungen des Herzens sowie belastungsabhängigen Herzrhythmusstörungen.

Beim 24h-BD wird der Blutdruck ähnlich wie beim 24h-EKG über einen längeren Zeitraum aufgezeichnet, in der Regel über 24h. Dabei werden in bestimmten Zeitintervallen immer wieder Messungen durchgeführt. Tagesabhängige bzw. lebensstilbedingte Unregelmässigkeiten werden erkannt.

Allergies can be identified using a prick test. The injection of a specific allergen extract into the top layer of skin produces an allergic reaction.

Physiotherapy made to measure (german)

As with general physiotherapy, this sports physiotherapy focuses on the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of injuries to the musculoskeletal system.

In sports physiotherapy, we also place special emphasis on the integration of a specific type of sport. The basis for this is mainly intensive, systematically used, active therapy measures (indoor/outdoor) according to the latest scientific findings. Passive physiotherapy is also used, if deemed necessary.

With certain indicative signs, such as being overweight, with a BMI of over 30 plus secondary diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and malnutrition, the cost for the consultation can be covered by your health insurance. You must, however, present a doctor’s prescription to qualify.

Once the venous blood collection procedure is completed, the patient’s blood is processed in a centrifuge. The separated plasma is removed. The platelets contained therein produce protein and messengers, which stimulate cell growth and tissue repair. This is mainly used in chronic inflammatory reactions, such as inflammation of the Achilles tendon, tennis elbow and inflammation of the patellar tendon, as well as in acute muscle injuries. The ACP is injected into the lesion. This triggers the body to replace the inflamed and damaged tissue with healthy tissue.
Generally, 3 injections are required at one-week intervals.

The cost of this therapy is not covered by insurance.

A sports massage is a variation of the classic massage. Trigger point therapy

TP therapy is used to target local cramps in the muscle tissue. It is often applied to ease painful conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, headaches, injuries, susceptibility to injuries and to prevent discomfort.

Lymphatic drainage

The lymphatic system is stimulated through gentle, rhythmic and slow pumping manipulations (pressure), which promotes the drainage of lymphatic fluids from the tissue. Lymphatic drainage is used for swelling after an injury, surgery and congenital disorders of the lymphatic system. It is also used for certain types of headaches and migraines.

The massage services can partly be billed via the additional insurance. Please check in advance whether your health insurance company accepts the therapist or treatment methods and covers the costs.

The honey massage is a traditionally proven remedy for detoxifying, regenerating and revitalizing. It has relaxing effects and improves both the circulation and elimination via the pores and kidneys. The massage removes old, dead cells, salts and skin debris. This leaves the skin feeling soft and supple.

The honey massage falls under apitherapy (natural healing methods that use natural products made by bees).

The Medical Check Basic includes the most important examinations to assess your current state of health. We would put aside a whole morning for your Medical Check, to ensure that we had enough time to go through all of your questions and requirements. The bioelectric impedance method determines the resistance between of the flow of an AC current as it passes through two or more points on the body.

The body contains different types of tissues with differing levels of electrolytes. The BIA can measure the water content, metabolically active cell tissue and fat mass of the individual body compartments. A further advantage of this method is that it can also identify visceral adipose tissue.

The long-term ECG monitor records cardiac activity over a longer period of time, usually 24 hours. Any irregularities resulting from the day and/or the individual's lifestyle are taken into account.

The pulmonary function test is used to diagnose your respiratory tract and lungs. It records and evaluates the amount of air you can breathe in and out of your lungs.

If the patient does not experience any difficulties when exercising, the AIA test can be used to assess their asthmatic reaction when they are physically exerted.

Ultrasound allows us to predominantly examine soft tissue structures in the body. That is why our ultrasound scanner is used to help clarify so many questions.
