At Medbase Bern main station, our patients have quick access to a comprehensive range of services. We combine basic medical care, walk-in emergency and specialist consultations under one roof. A competent team is available for your health from monday to saturday.

Since 15 November 2021, Medbase Bern main station offers also the «Booster» according to cantonal requirements. Basic immunisation will continue to be offered unchanged. We vaccinate exclusively with the Moderna vaccine (Spikevax). A combination of this vaccine with other vaccines is not recommended by the BAG, but is possible on request. Since 26 November 2021, the BAG and the EKIF continue to recommend basic immunisation and/or booster with mRNA vaccines for persons under 30 years of age, but preferentially with Comirnaty (Pfizer/ Biontech). The reason for this is the rare and benign heart muscle infections (Myocarditis) that occurred after vaccination, which were slightly more frequent after Spikevax than after Comirnaty. Comirnaty is currently only available in vaccination centres. However, Spikevax can still be administered on request, as before.
