Core Strength Test
The Swiss Olympic core strength endurance test is a standardized strength test for the core muscles. It consists of three dynamic strength exercises performed using your own body weight. The test assesses and evaluates the strength of the front, side, and rear muscle chains of the core.
Deficits in the core muscles have a negative impact on performance in many sports and are often the cause of muscular imbalances and strain on the musculoskeletal system. The core muscles are an important factor for efficiency in many endurance and strength sports and contribute to body stabilization and precision of movement in many ball, team, and combat sports
