Isokinetic Strength Tests
Isokinetic strength measurements assess force output in relation to joint angle progression. An important application is the identification of muscular imbalances, for example in the knee, ankle, or shoulder. These imbalances can not only limit performance but also lead to overuse of the musculoskeletal system. If necessary, appropriate training methods can be used to counteract these imbalances.
In addition to strength testing, isokinetic training can also be used for isolated exercises; in particular, the option of eccentric training sessions is of interest to athletes.
