Acupressure
Acupressure is a therapeutically applied healing method in which blunt pressure is put on the body at defined points (on so-called acupoints on the energy pathways). The thumbs, palms, elbows, etc. are used to exert the pressure. This is a complementary therapeutic method, which is used in particular in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). This Asian healing tradition was already established 200 years before Christ. It is a component of the Chinese Tuina massage.
