Bach flower therapy
This gentle flower therapy was developed by English doctor Edward Bach in the 1930s. He produced and researched 38 Bach flower concentrates based on the blossom of plants and trees growing in the wild. The result was a very gentle remedy with subtle healing effects. The Bach flowers harmonies discordant emotional energies and assist us maintaining a positive attitude towards the demands made on us in everyday life. Children and adults alike respond positively to Bach flower therapy methods. The Bach flowers to be used are selected in a therapy session – children are assisted with visual material – and then prepared individually.
Areas of use
In crisis situations and states of exhaustion, in addition to psychotherapy, periods of heightened stress (e.g. At exam times, before during and after childbirth), for fears and anxiety disorders, grief and trauma, new beginnings and new directions. With children: Provide support when starting nursery or school, during their phases of development, for nightmares and bed-wetting.
