Tuina
Tuina, a manipulative form of Chinese Medicine, is used to address problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, organs and the functions of organs. The various manipulative techniques regulate the qi (energy) and blood in the channels / meridians, removing blockages and stimulating the flow of energy. The name Tuina comes from the massage terms TUI (push) and NA (grasp). It involves the techniques of pushing, rubbing and pulling, and pressure is applied to the acupuncture points. Pediatric Tuina is a special kind of Tuina. Acupuncture and Tuina are used on adults and children, younger and older patients.
