Venerology (STD)

We offer screening for all STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), now called STIs (sexually transmitted infections). These are a group of diseases caused by viruses, bacteria or parasites that can be transmitted during sexual intercourse, with or without penetration. Among them, we find in particular :

• HIV (AIDS virus)
• Hepatitis B
• Syphilis
• Chlamydia
• Gonorrhoea

... but also other STIs that may be mentioned during a medical consultation. Screening is necessary in case of symptoms but can also be requested by the patient or prescribed by the doctor after a risky sexual intercourse, without any symptoms.
