Biofeedback
Biofeedback provides a simple computer-controlled process for measuring and gaining greater awareness of involuntary and/or uncontrollable physiological functions. It helps you focus on achieving your therapy goals, such as correcting autonomous non-specific physiological stress reactions (e.g. heart rate, muscle tension, respiratory rate, sweat glands and body temperature). In the long term this will help patients gain self-control thereby enhancing their self-competence, by implementing the processes in everyday life, predominantly in stressful situations.
