Interventional pain management refers to the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory, degenerative, or neuropathic conditions. The goal is to identify the source of pain and suppress the pain stimulus by administering anesthetic (infiltration) to specific structures—such as nerve roots, joints, or similar areas—under ultrasound or fluoroscopic (X-ray) guidance. If this is successful, a clear diagnosis can be made and a further treatment plan can be developed.

In a 24-hour blood pressure monitor, blood pressure is recorded over a longer period of time – usually 24 hours – in a similar way to a 24-hour ECG. Measurements are taken at regular intervals. This allows for the detection of daily or lifestyle-related irregularities.

Percutaneous electrolysis is a modern, minimally invasive procedure used in sports medicine and sports physiotherapy. Under ultrasound guidance, a fine needle is guided with millimetre precision into the damaged area of tissue. A targeted direct current is delivered via the tip of the needle, which stimulates the body’s own repair process.

The method is used in particular for tendon problems, bursitis and muscle injuries. The aim of the treatment is to reduce pain and promote the natural regeneration of the tissue in the long term.

Targeting weak points in the locomotor system

The Medbase Physio Check helps you actively address weaknesses in the locomotor system with professional guidance. The focus is on active strengthening to prevent tension, achieve better posture, and reduce the stress on your joints with a strengthened musculature.

We schedule a full morning for the Medical Check to ensure we have ample time to address your questions and needs. After the lab tests—which must be done on an empty stomach—you are welcome to have breakfast at a nearby café and then, feeling refreshed, proceed with the remaining tests.
