General internal medicine
The aim of general pediatrics is to care for children and adolescents until the end of adolescence while taking into account their family and social environment. Particular attention is given to potential stresses and strains resulting from training and competition.
Gynecology, also known as women’s medicine, deals with the onset and treatment of diseases of the female genital tract. Precautionary measures also play an important role here, whether it is for cancer screening or the appropriate prevention of currently unwanted pregnancies. Women who would also like to have children but have so far been unable to conceive may also come for a consultation. Obstetrics is concerned with the monitoring and supervision of pregnancies.
This service contains the inspection, cleaning and care of wounds.
We offer screening for all STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), now called STIs (sexually transmitted infections). These are a group of diseases caused by viruses, bacteria or parasites that can be transmitted during sexual intercourse, with or without penetration. Among them, we find in particular :
- HIV (AIDS virus)
- Hepatitis B
- Syphilis
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
... but also other STIs that may be mentioned during a medical consultation. Screening is necessary in case of symptoms but can also be requested by the patient or prescribed by the doctor after a risky sexual intercourse, without any symptoms. Our doctors will answer all your questions about treatment and prevention.
X-rays
Ultrasound allows us to predominantly examine soft tissue structures in the body. That is why our ultrasound scanner is used to help clarify so many questions.

Tuina, a manipulative form of Chinese Medicine, is used to address problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, organs and the functions of organs. The various manipulative techniques regulate the qi (energy) and blood in the channels / meridians, removing blockages and stimulating the flow of energy. The name Tuina comes from the massage terms TUI (push) and NA (grasp). It involves the techniques of pushing, rubbing and pulling, and pressure is applied to the acupuncture points. Pediatric Tuina is a special kind of Tuina. Acupuncture and Tuina are used on adults and children, younger and older patients.

Radloff acupuncture massage is based on the principles of classical Chinese medicine and modern manual therapeutic techniques. According to the ancient Asian view, it is the life energy that is superior to all bodily functions. It circulates in the body through the so-called meridians. Disorders are based on a local abundance or lack of vital energy. In APM, findings are recorded via the reflex zones on the ear. The meridians are stimulated with a therapy stick and, by manually treating the spine and joints, energetic blockages are removed and static imbalances are corrected.
Indications
chronic back pain, joint complaints, headaches, tension, pelvic obliquity, functional leg length difference, general energy function disorders.
A medical massage improves the blood circulation and metabolism and therefore reduces tension and pain in the muscles as well as the entire body. It improves the patient’s performance and regeneration, whilst simultaneously purifying and detoxing the body. Different manipulation techniques and intensities are applied to achieve the objectives.
Sports massage
A sports massage is a variation of the classic massage. It plays an important role in preparing for training and competitions, or after great physical exertion with the aim of restoring previous performance levels. The massage techniques are individually tailored to suit the athlete, i.e. His/her type of sport and his/her ultimate objective (stimulation, improved performance, regeneration, relaxation or injury prophylaxis).
Trigger point therapy
TP therapy is used to target local cramps in the muscle tissue. It is often applied to ease painful conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, headaches, injuries, susceptibility to injuries and to prevent discomfort.
Lymphatic drainage
The lymphatic system is stimulated through gentle, rhythmic and slow pumping manipulations (pressure), which promotes the drainage of lymphatic fluids from the tissue. Lymphatic drainage is used for swelling after an injury, surgery and congenital disorders of the lymphatic system. It is also used for certain types of headaches and migraines.
The massage services can partly be billed via the additional insurance. Please check in advance whether your health insurance company accepts the therapist or treatment methods and covers the costs.
Practitioners of craniosacral therapy assist the client to self-regulate by applying light touches.
The aim of the treatment is not to combat the symptoms but instead to find out the causes of the pain to create a holistic healing process. Craniosacral therapy can be used to treat people of all ages, from birth to old age.
Symptoms
- Back and neck problems, migraines, stress-related ailments
- Problems sleeping, fatigue, depression
- Orthodontic problems
- Asthma, allergies and skin conditions, and much more
Health insurance policies are recognized for supplementary insurance in alternative medicine.
In Medical training therapy (MTT) the musculoskeletal system and cardiovascular system are trained through endurance, flexibility, strength and coordination training programs. Targeted training stimuli balance muscle and endurance deficits and maximize the body’s resilience. This results in improved performance both at work and leisure. Competent and specially trained physiotherapists oversee and instruct patients through the MTT treatment.
Manually draining the lymphatic system is an option for reducing swelling. The aim is to unblock the tissue and thereby prevent any damage. According to Földi, lymph drainage treatment consists of gently massaging the tissue and the use of compressions (using stockings or bandages), skin care and physical exercises. The cause of the edema or swelling is identified at the start of the therapy to clarify how the treatment is to proceed.

Physiotherapy made to measure (german)
An American doctor, Andrew Taylor Still (1828-1917), went looking for a new understanding of health and disease. The basis for osteopathy is formed on the basic understanding that the body contains all it requires to maintain its own health (self-healing powers) and that the mind, body and spirit are form a single unit.
In osteopathy, the person is divided into three main areas:
- Parietal (musculoskeletal system, connective tissues)
- Visceral (abdominal organs)
- Craniosacral (skull, spinal fluid, meninges, sensory organs, sacrum)
When is osteopathy used?
In infants and young children, for example, birth-related facial and cranial deformations, scoliosis, infections in the middle ear cavity, allergies, KISS syndrome, colic children, torticollis, hip deformities, learning and concentration difficulties and to regulate jaw structure.
In adults, for example, acute back pain or tension, joint problems, traumas, migraines, tinnitus, headaches, TMJ/TMD disorders, minor digestive problems, (heartburn, depressive moods), burnout syndrome, menstrual pain, menopausal or pregnancy monitoring, scars and adhesions after an operation.
How does osteopathy work?
Through touch with special manipulations the osteopath will relieve tension and restore balance in and around these systems to help the body’s own healing mechanisms.
Refunding of costs
The costs for osteopathy are usually covered by supplementary health insurance. Ask your health insurance provider for more details.
